Another superb team performance saw Downham beat Wimbotsham 3 - 0.  Buoyant from the start, Downham had numerous attacks, thwarted only by the acrobatics of the visiting goalkeeper.  An early Harry Cupit penalty was pushed round the post and from the ensuing corner Joe Taylor found the back of the net.  Liam Robinson doubled the score following sustained pressure on the Wimbotsham goal.  The second half started much in the same vein, Downham being denied time and again by both the keeper and the woodwork.  Wimbotsham broke forward, forcing a fine save from Downham 'Keeper Joe Martin then man of the match Harvey Back ran past 3 defenders before squaring to Joe Taylor, who made the final score 3 - 0.
