Town reserves have been drawn away in the first round of the Norfolk Junior Cup to Rogers and Norton Business Houses League side Costessey Crown FC. Tie to be played on 20 September 2008.

Halstead Town v Town

Town kick off their league campaign on Saturday with a visit to Halstead Town. Wayne is expected to have a full squad for his first competitive game as Town manager. Town lost last season game at Rosemary Lane 2-0.

Downham in action at Littleport

Both the first team and reserves were in action at Littleport. Wayne continued with another win making it three while George Dickson took charge of his first game unfortunately couldn't manage a win but came out with many positives. The club would also like to wish the Littleport player who was rushed to hospital a speedy recovery.

Reserves name manager

The club has revealed that Under 18 Manager George Dickson will take charge of the reserves for the forthcoming season. His first job will be taking the over the reserves friendly at Littleport Reserves on Saturday.
